I know they mentioned unemployment due to this corona that it wouldn’t make a difference in the process but I was wondering about people who work with the schools and have summer off, how or would that affect the naca process ????
I believe you would need to obtain a letter from your school or local board of education on “company” letterhead stating your return to work with given salary is guaranteed for the upcoming school year.
Temporary loss of income or reduced income as a result of the pandemic for any job in any industry would have the same criteria.
When it comes to employment gaps not due to work cycles such as teaching you would need to show your pay stubs from 2 pay cycles after your return to work. I’m not quite sure about teachers.
Hello mssyheather,
I suspect what you are asking here is how is income calculated for teachers who are only paid nine or ten months of the year.
Obtain a letter from the school stating that you will be offered employment for the next school year and at what salary rate to demonstrate ongoing employment. From there we simply take your annual income and divide it by twelve to get a monthly income figure.
