@JHarris981 That is exactly what I am going to do. They are doing too much, I feel like someone is putting the squeeze on me. I don’t understand why they are listing charges that the CD from the lender is showing as lender paid???? smh…I don’t like being mislead or swindled, so I am being extra careful at looking at these numbers. If this statement flies, I am 200 short of close til I get paid. I already paid rent, bills, etc. I don’t want to go through the headache of a gift from a family member (read a nightmare of a story from that). I am just sick of this discombobulated bs that they do, its like watching the dang 3 stooges or keystone cops. I had so much faith in this, and now its dwindling away.

@pmathewr sorry…but wait til the show starts for you too….but you are correct, at least I am getting emails. They are just stressing me out, I can literally feel my arm having pain. I really need to calm down and let this crap go….its not worth ending up in ER…..I will go to bank in the morning and get the wire out to these folk. Hopefully they will change this amount for fees paid by the lender though.

@Favorj didnt you say the escrow amount for taxes is incorrect too? I wouldn’t wire them any money until they’ve corrected the amount due. Since you’re getting two different amounts from two different people, there’s no way you to tell which is the correct amount at the moment. Also, I believe per NACA’s handbook they are supposed to reimburse you for the credit report fees, so make sure your credits are on there too (including the amount that’s been covered by the lender). You shouldn’t have to pay an incorrect association fee.

At this point, I am not sure whether or not I should have had an attorney….doesn’t seem to be helping.

Yes, I reviewed the taxes, and it is correct, but the lender cd provides a credit for recording fees and transfer tax that the attorney statement is charging me for…848 dollars total. I sent a snippet of the CD to the attorney office coordinator. I will see what she says tomorrow. I am so stressed, I feel it all in my body, im crying and I want this to be over. I never want to deal with this again. 🙁

@pmathewr thanks, really needed that. I sent over the bank transactions since I received a ‘panic’ email from some random person asking for confirmation of funds, even though the attorney already said they heard from the lender and received final ctc AGAIN. They can’t even get this story right…smh

UPDATE:
So I had a rough night, stressed out. Woke up stressed. Went to work, emailed the closing attorney to confirm the fees being charged and ask for the final CD. Then my MC emailed, asking for bank transactions again, because my name wasn’t on it, all while trying to work. I was a HOT MESS…then I received the final Disclosure from the random CC who emailed me yesterday, saying “oh, I am sorry, the final number is blah blah…attached is the final CD. Cleared to Close (AGAIN). Then, I left work (after 3 hours trying to do a report i normally do in 10 mins) ..run to the bank to wire funds to close, and made it 15 mins before noon, put on makeup (cause I know they like to take your pic) and proceeded to CLOSE ON MY NEW HOME!!!!!!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!

So after all the drama, stress, etc. I have Achieved the Dream!

@FavorJ — congratulations!! Super happy for you. I was waiting on this news. I’m so glad everything worked out in the end.
