Hey yall! Just in case anyone was wondering about volunteering @ this time. I sat on hold with Member Services for 2 hours this morning BUT i finally got through. I wanted to clarify if we were still required to volunteer during the pandemic…I was told the volunteer requirement is currently on hold until further notice.
Thanks for sharing the info. Even though we have placed the participation requirement on hold for now, there are still ways to earn credits for those who don’t want to play catch-up later.
-Get ten people to register to vote = one volunteer credit.
-Tell friends, family, co-workers, etc. about the program. When someone registers, takes the Homebuyer’s workshop and gets their NACA ID number, that’s good for one credit.
-Join in on our Homebuyers Workshop on Facebook Live each Saturday (every day during the virtual Achieve the Dream Events), share it to your own Facebook page and send us a screenshot of it, and we will give you one-half credit.
Once we start doing live local workshops and ATD events again later this year, of course those in-person volunteering opportunities will return, as well as other ways to earn credits once the local offices become open to the public again.
