I’m going to be honest and say that some of these post are scaring the daylights outta of me. I have been with NACA since June 2011. Yes, I know that’s a very long time, but I had things to take care of and my 1st MC left the organization. I was a bit bummed but got over it quickly. I have been reading this forum for quite sometime, so I see everyone’s frustration. I have to say, going through the process is really not that bad, I don’t care if I have to send the same paperwork in or if I have to email my MC more than once, all that is ok. I am just scared that when I am approved, I will fall through the cracks like I hear others do. As Tim always says, “be patient and persistent” and I am both. If I want something I am determined to get it no matter what. I will call 17,000 people if I need something done, lol!! On the other hand, I don’t like to be played with. Basically if I am told I will be closing on this date, I want to close on that date. I just don’t want to get down to the wire and something comes up where I can’t close and I loose money that I’ve worked so hard for. I think I am getting pretty close to approval; my task list is pretty much completed. I just have to turn in tax documents and hopefully I am good to go. Every month I send in check stubs and bank statement – whatever is needed I send it in. I think NACA is a great program; I totally want to succeed, but now I’m to point where I don’t know if it will happen.

I feel the exact same way you do. I have started getting more and more nervous as I read more and more stories of things gone wrong, but I also feel like I would like to know the mistakes that happen to others so I can try to prevent or learn from them.
As many people who post in the forums and have had struggles, I’m sure there are even more who things went smoothly for and never bothered to come onto the Forum…
    Good luck!!

I feel the same. Just like in any other situation if you have a great experience you tell people verbally, but you don’t write it down. I guess that is what we’re seeing in the forum. I got referred by two co-workers who purchased their homes through NACA years ago. They didn’t experience the what I’m going through. They are shocked when I tell them what I’m going thru.

I successfully purchased from NACA in 2009- Patience is okay- to a point. I was “patient” for a whole month in the beginning of the process. Patiently waiting for my initial MC to give me a call back after sending her everything requested in the initial meeting….. only to later find out she was burnt-out and never coming back!!!!!!!!
Had I continued to be patient- like I’m surealot of her other clients probably were… i’d still be “waiting” for something to happen.. Stay POSITIVE and assertive with the process for your own sanity and Keep Pushing!!!
