    Hi again! If I’m currently in school, so not repaying my student loans, will NACA count that towards my Debt to Income ratio? Since I’m still several years from paying it, I wasn’t sure how that would work.

    Yes.

    You cannot have a zero payment or deferred payment. You need to have your loan issuer provide a letter on company letterhead detailing what your payment would be if you started paying today. That hypothetical figure is factored into your debt.
