How can members obtain the RMA form. There appears to be a problem with receiving the form. I’ve been waiting for the form which was supposed to be emailed to me by a counselor for several days and have not received anything. On the NACA website the electronic forms do not allow electronic signatures replying with error messages that the email address doesn’t match?
The RMA form is automatically generated at the time the proposal for modification is created and initially submitted to the servicer. A copy is automatically emailed to the member at the address we have in the member’s file. For security reasons, only the email address we have on file will be acceptable for dealing with sending and receiving forms for these purposes.
In your particular case, your counselor additionally emailed the RMA to you as an attachment multiple times. If you did not receive it, then it had to be due to some sort of problem on your end such as being filtered out by your email provider.
What stage am I in now? What comes next now that it reads “Underwriting”. I am scheduled to close on Friday 9/23, IF I were to be cleared to close, could I still close on Friday? Am I in the “clear” now, or could I still face other issues to close? I thought this was the last step, but as I’m reading through the blog, it seems that may not be the case and I may not close this Friday…is that the case?
