MemberI have some questions regarding underwriting for initial qualification:
1. What is the timeline? I’ve searched the forum and called member services and everyone says 72 hrs, but my mc says 7-10 business days. This is a huge discrepancy, and I haven’t received a response regarding this.
2. I was initially submitted to underwriting 5/8, 5/16 conditions came back, and i was resubmitted 5/21. I’m still awaiting to hear an answer back. Does the 72 hours or 7-10 business days restart? Meaning does a new underwriter have to review from scratch or do they check if what’s received satisfy? I’m confused regarding the process.
3. I read on a post that the underwriters review and submit on thursdays. Does this depend on the office? Example I’m doing remote counseling, are the underwriters assigned to me at that location or is it centralized?
4. I’ve called member services since my mc hasn’t responded to any of my questions, and all they said is it shows my file was submitted to underwriting 5/21 and still shows pending. Is this normal? Does this mean the underwriter hasn’t looked at my file yet? Member services said they had no additional info.

MemberHi angiepharm
I am in the same boat and currently awaiting underwriter qualification. My file was submitted on 5/23/19. I email my MC every day and sometimes I go days without a response. I would like to know the timeline range as well. I especially am anxious because there is an ATD event happening soon and I don’t want my file to be pushed to the side because I am not attending it. Plese, update when you can.May 30, 2019 at 3:29 pm #48980angiepharm
Member@tnphomebound, that was my issue as well. If i didnt hear anything, i was planning to go the ATD event to get qualified. I was looking at the cost of flights, just in case. But, thank goodness just got the file update about 1 hour ago. i received no response from my MC, until she just called to give me the good news. Hopefully you will hear something soon!!

MemberCongratulations @angiepharm, I am so happy for you and the remote counselor information was extremely helpful because I have a remote counselor as well. The day is not over yet so I am hoping today or tomorrow to get so good news going into the weekend. Fingers and toes crossed!!

Member@tnphomebound, so did you get your qualification from underwriting? If so how long did it take for you to hear from them?

MemberQualification will come from underwriting but will be sent to you via your MC. Your MC is the facilitator for all communication.

Member@Tara585, yes I did get qualified. It took about 5 days. I sent an email to my MC everyday. You have to stay on them because they stay busy. ?
