    Morning! I was wondering with this whole COVID19 situation, are we still expected to get participation points? Will this have to be done prior to being NACA qualified or prior to closing? I figured if it has to be done prior to qualification & we’re expecting to be qualified within a couple months, we’ll have very limited options. Does my Husband have to get points individually or do we get them collectively as one household?


    My wife and I were originally told we would have to get points separately. Apparently our first MC was new. We later learned that it was only 5 combined total participation points needed.


    Each member has to have 5 activities per year.

    If you are both members then you both need to attend 5 activities.

    Or you each need to attend 5 separate activities for a total of 10.

    Or a combination.

    I have not heard of any relaxation of the rules during the pandemic so once before qualification and once again before closing are the minimum. You can skip the once before qualification at the achieve the dream events as long as you do at least 2 before closing. They do this to streamline the process to be able to say you can get qualified at the event. There are virtual events coming up.

    Contact your local office. They will be able to tell you what activities are available. Sometimes it’s as simple as donating to charitable causes or using your personal social media accounts to advertise NACA.


    Perfect! I’ve tried calling my local office (Dallas) but it seems they have the calls going to Member Services & the wait time is pretty bad which is expected. I’ll keep trying to see if I can get a hold of someone locally.
