    Hi all,
Can someone whose been NACA Qualified tell me if I should write my LOEs per transaction or one for each monthly statement?

If per monthly statement is the route to go, how should I separate the transactions? Chart? Numbered? Dated?

Your MC can best answer this question because it really depends on the nature of the transactions. Members have been told to do both. I would say 1 transaction per letter per statement unless they are tied together.

For instance if you transfer $100 from your checking account to your savings account every week you might be able to get away with 1 letter per month explaining your process, attaching the statement to the letter and highlighting the transactions. Same for regular ATM withdrawals. Like you could say every week I take out $100 cash to keep in my wallet or purse for emergencies.

If on the other hand you bought a TV and paid off a loan early or made an extra payment then that would likely need 2 separate letters.

There are LOE samples and templates on the unofficial NACA Facebook page. You can request to join the group and you’ll see it under “Files”. The Irregular Lump Sum Withdrawal LOE template shows all withdrawals from a single month on one LOE.
