Hello everyone, I hope all is well. Its been over two weeks since my inspection. The inspector says he uploaded the report the same day and has uploaded again multiple times. My MC did not see the report and now one of my conditions for credit access is having the inspection report uploaded to my file. The inspector has also sent me and my realtor copies of the report. I have tried contacting HAND, to no avail. Is there any way I can escalate this? (Inspector has even sent me an email with the screenshot that shows “upload complete” in the dialog box for the naca system).
This is now holding me back from credit access so if there’s anything I can do I’d definitely like to get it taken care of, thanks!
Ps- this is an inspector that has worked with NACA lots of times, he said he has this issue a lot and that it has something to do with the software. I am not trying to assign blame, I just want to know if there’s anything I can do 🙂December 10, 2019 at 8:45 am #63014NelsontMember
Email the report to your MC and copy your naca lynx email address.December 10, 2019 at 8:49 am #63015
I have emailed it to her, I believe she told me to try to get the inspector to upload it. Since she has it, do you believe it would still be accepted if she uploaded it herself? Maybe she is unaware she can do this and believes it is supposed to come straight from the inspector..
I also have tried emailing to my lynx webfile, but nothing has ever shown up that I have mailed. And when I click on the HAND column (to possibly try and upload it there), the page that comes up says “late explanation”…its as if the hyperlinks are mixed up.December 10, 2019 at 9:06 am #63016
I had a similar problem: my inspector submitted it but, for some reason, the HAND couldn’t see it in my web-file. I also submitted it to my web-file and emailed it via my NACA-email, and called the HAND dept. They wanted to see it from the inspector (they have their own access).
My advice: try to access your web-file from both GOOGLE and INTERNET Explorer. Contact your inspector and ask him to submit it again. Call the Member service and tell them about the web-file issue. They should help.

Thanks! I will call member services as soon as they openDecember 10, 2019 at 9:48 am #63020
Called member services, was directed to call HAND. Called HAND and was told I needed to speak with the vendor services director, so I left a message for her. Hopefully I can get this resolved ASAPDecember 10, 2019 at 10:17 am #63023BakerTheBakerMember
My MC said the very best way to submit things is using our NACA lynx email address.December 10, 2019 at 10:18 am #63024
Ok, I will try that again, it’s possible I sent it incorrectly. Thanks!December 10, 2019 at 3:20 pm #63053
Ok I sent to my naca email about 4 hours ago, it’s still not in my file. Any other ideas?December 10, 2019 at 3:24 pm #63054
How did you check if it’s uploaded or not? Did you call the HAND department to make sure? I’m asking because when I send the document via my NACA email I don’t see it in my web-file, but they always receive it.
Did you get any response from the vendor services director?December 10, 2019 at 3:28 pm #63056NelsontMember
When I was going through the process it was my understanding that the naca lynx address was a placeholder to find files. I think the webfile needs to be manually updated but, sending files to the naca lynx address allows the UW to view them. I think they just check the email of your member number. I think that’s how it works. I can’t remember ever seeing anything I sent to my email address actually on my webfile but, the information still got to where it needed to go.December 10, 2019 at 3:31 pm #63057
As of now, HAND does not see it in my file. I have not gotten a response from the vendor services director yet unfortunately.December 10, 2019 at 3:33 pm #63058
See below Tim Trumble response regarding web-file issues. Maybe it will help. If not, contact him and explain your issue, he could forward your email to NACA Database Consultant.
All three methods, email, upload and fax, are viable methods for getting documents into your file.
With regard to the email, one of two things likely happened:
1) The email address was not entered correctly. the correct format for the address is emailXXXXXXX@nacalynx.com (where the X’s represent your NACA ID number). Many people neglect to put the word email at the beginning, prior to the ID number, or they send it to naca.com instead of nacalynx.com.
2) The email size was too large. Many networks will prohibit email messages from going through that are larger than 10mb. Break up the documents in to multiple smaller messages if needed.
Please also remember that items sent by email must be inthe PDF format to be accepted into your file. (BTW, your counselor could have simply forwarded the email with the documents into your file by the same method.)
Nearly all NACA offices now have new high speed scanners that are also capable of scanning both sides of a document simultaneously, so a two sided document should not be a problem.
I hope that helps!

Unfortunately I cant upload the inspection report, they want to see it directly from the inspector. The inspector said they sent it again last night (after saying he had an extra 0 in my naca ID) but it is still NOT in my file. I have instructed the inspector to contact HAND directly. I have tried to contact the vendor coordinator but have not been able to reach her. This is the only thing holding me back from credit access, and it’s been over 2 weeks since the inspection. I have asked if there’s anyway I can escalate this, but I was told there really isn’t a way to do that, the inspector just has to fix what’s going on. I’m not sure what to do at this point, I’m thinking of paying for another inspection (from a different inspector of course) just to get the dang report uploaded! Is there any way to escalate this? I have the inspection report, but they will not accept it from me.December 11, 2019 at 11:31 am #63078
@kiwicali011210 Calm down. It’s gonna be fine. There is no need to perform another inspection. I think the inspector does something wrong. If he/she had extra “0” in your NACA email address maybe there is something else.
That is way too weird. Did he/she check all file requirements (PDF format, less than 10 Mb, email is correct)?
Ask him/her to email it to your NACA-email, the HAND department email and copy your personal email address, so you may see if everything is correct.
