Congrats!!! I am so happy to read this and it never gets old. I look forward to typing “I’m qualified” in the future. Hello to all my fellow ATL area NACA members! I had an appt with my MC last week and it went very well. I was prepared with hard copies of everything. I was given my Action Items list with two items to take care of and my follow up appointment was scheduled. This is our year!
@futurehomeowner15 welcome, I have my followup appt this friday with my MC after my action item was given last January. I am gathering all my doucuments to make sure I have all the necessary papework and hope the next step is ‘Qualified”
I had my intake session with my MC on April 3rd. Had almost everything with me, my husband had to write two LOE’s. We had a few things to submit. Got all in the next day except one but got that in by that Friday. MC needed 4506T signed, sent that this morning. Now just waiting on my husbands VOE then we should be good to go to UW. Good luck everyone!
I am looking to purchase in Rockdale, Newton or Gwinnett at this point. The housing market is so strange right now in Metro Atlanta. I am getting a little nervous about the possibilities of finding what I am looking for at a reasonable price.
@futurehomeowner15 that’s good , I am having my 3rd meeting with my MC next week. I have everything ready (all documents) .He said he will send everything to the UW. He said he will work to make sure I am qualified for this month. My lease is ending next month,I don’t know if I will go month to month or ask the landlord if I can renew for 6 month. The market is very strange right now specially in Gwinnett County where I want to buy. House goes in pending status so fast and price are hiking.
I’m familiar with Newton from a close family member who lives there. Nice place! Definitely still part of the Atlanta metro, but just far enough out to disconnect from Atlanta’s hustle and bustle. I presume Rockdale and Gwinnett are pretty much the same way.
Typically communities like that are a little more stable than the core city of a metro area, so I hope you’ll find things a little easier to deal with there when shopping for your home.
