Hurricane Florence

I wouldn’t like to alarm anybody that is in the closing process but take in consideration that Hurricane Florence is approaching North Carolina expected to get there around Sunday morning and the NACA Headquarters are located in Charlotte, that’s where the closing coordinators and underwriters are located. Hopefully this does not affect too much the progress of the files as they prepare this week for the hurricane and also hoping there is not a lot of damage, power outage, etc next week.

I thought about this last night as I was watching the news. This should be an interesting week ahead with NACA….as always.

NACA actually has underwriters and closing coordinators in other states too. I believe NACA’s national headquarters is located in Boston, MA. My underwriter is based out of Las Vegas. I don’t live anywhere near Las Vegas or the west coast. Not sure how they decide on which location you’re assigned to. I hope Hurricane Florence doesn’t negatively impact anyone.

Hello all,

Prior to this morning’s update on the storm, Florence was predicted to have extremely litle impact on Charlotte other than a little wind and rain. With the storm’s predicted turn to the west upon landfall, Charlotte may see more than orignally thought, but it still appears to be little more than some moderate thunderstorms. At this point, there are no plans to alter operations in Charlotte or at the Acheive the Dream event in Atlanta.

Should there be any changes, I’ll keep you updated on the home/blog page here in the Forum and our other social media sites.

But when I read your post I literally laughed out loud at my desk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are funny!

My bank app was submitted yesterday, so I hope I get one of those counselors outside of NC just in case!
