ParticipantWe received a ” This file was cleared by HAND on 9/6/12 and all lender conditions have been addressed. The lender will review and issue clear to close shortly” . So obviously the word ‘shortly’ is no in a few minutes or hours.
Can anyone tell me how long it would normally take to get a CTC date?
Thanks.

MemberHello freezerburn,
While normally, Clear to Close usually occurs three business days after the application is sent to the bank, we have been seeing some longer turnaround times lately just because of the incresed volume during the summertime.
Please continue to monitor your file for updates.

ParticipantThanks Everyone!!! Can’t wait to touch my keys..3 years in the making/waiting 🙂
The .75 percent interest rate I was able to lock in was worth every distressed minute and tear shed.
@ Tim, I will consider that photo 🙂September 13, 2012 at 8:05 am #3035Calhounwoman
ParticipantWow!!! I was getting discouraged (cash buyers/investers snapping up affordable homes) until I saw all of you “closing”. I’m jazzed up again! Contragulations, to all of you; I’m so excited for you! Hope to see the Celebration photos soon…

ParticipantThanks again all, I don’t think I will be posting any pictures with the house – security reasons! Haha! I might still consider! At work now, but closing is at 1.30 today. I am so excited!
@Calhounwoman our in-house NACA Broker is awesome. She showed us (after many others) a new construction and apparently they are really close to NACA and gave good incentives especially for NACA members. We had a 6% and on top of that a further 11k discount. The builder is reputable too. I know this because of extensive research on the builders and also when we did house insurance shopping, all companies gave further discount because of the good standing of the builder. Stick to NACA 🙂 The reason also why we choose the NACA in house broker – they know in and out of the program and any deals they have with builders! Good luck! -
