I’m currently stuck at an appraisal dispute. The appraisal for the property I am currently in escrow for came back low. Quite a bit lower than anticipated. We have submitted an appraisal dispute because we believe that the appraisal is not accurate based on the rent numbers used for the appraisal versus the actual rent numbers of the property that it is currently getting.
We have submitted this dispute weeks ago, but haven’t received any sort of update. Not even a response from the bank or NACA about this. All this being time sensitive, how can I get some sort of answer on this?
We just need to get an answer so that we know if we can move forward or not. Is there more documentation I need or do I need to speak to someone specifically about this issue? Please help!

I had the same issue last month. While I thought my dispute was being reviewed by BoA, it was simply sitting on someone’s desk for three weeks! Nothing had been done because there was no bank application for BoA to connect it with. At that time, my file was in credit access pending status.
The seller and I just agreed on a lower price in order not to drag things out any further but when my Realtor initially asked about the steps, no one was able to advise her on the appraisal dispute guidelines which I completely did not understand.hoping things work out for you!
