    Hello All,

    I had a NACA Intake Counseling appointment on May 3, 2021 At 11:00 AM. My counselor said she had me scheduled on May 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM. I was confused since I didn’t receive this notice from NACA. When I asked her about this, she didn’t email me back. Fast forward to 05/08/21, she said she had to push back our meeting to 2:00 PM because she had to assist in the NACA Workshop. Why didn’t she tell me this during the week? I had to call off work for both of these appointments that haven’t happened! It has been 2 hours since our 2:00 PM “push-back” meeting and she hasn’t sent me any updates about when our meeting will take place. I had plans for Mother’s Day today since I work tomorrow but it seems I may have to cancel because of this meeting. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

    I feel your pain and I am sooo sorry that your time is not being respected.

    Feb 21, my counselor stated I was missing things from work file so based on her schedule she booked me for May. I was disappointed since we had already discussed the importance of time and that my current leases ends soon and will increase. In addition, I requested the appointed day she requested off.

    May came, I received the appointment confirmation as normal both by text and email and thought all was in order.

    A few days later I received an email from my NACA email CC my counselor and some other parties stating that the counselor would be out of the office and to contact member services to reschedule.

    I contacted member services who seemed confused as well and had me on a silent hold for appx 18min while he reached out to a supervisor for clarity.

    They were able to keep my same day appointment which I attended with a different counselor. This counselor asked for things that I already emailed to my NACA email since I had expressed many times to counselor A that I was having trouble attaching to webfile, as well as the directions from member services.

    Counselor B told me that she was unable to see the emails and that member services should stop telling members to email documents but rather scan them andddddd due to me needing to resubmit these documents, counselor B rescheduled me for “first available” which isn’t until August.

    So, I understand your frustration @TheAverage, especially when your time and effort is not valued and the counselors just keep prolonging the sessions by months!! Do they not know that a lot can change within that time especially if all that’s needed to to just send the documents a different route!

    Close to dropping this program.
