Can someone please help me. I had an appointment with my counselor yesterday and my credit report was pulled. Because the appointment was over the phone, I wasn’t able to get a physical copy of it. My counselor told me I can access it on the web-file, but when I log in I can’t find it. Does anyone know where it is located?
Actually, your counselor mis-spoke. When we pull the credit file, we are being granted a license to obtain the intellectual property of the credit bureaus and make use of it for a specific, limited purpose. Providing you with a copy of the report is not contained within that license, which means we are not allowed to give you a copy of the report. For that reason, it is not visible from your NACA webfile.
However, under federal law, you are allowed to pull your own credit file once per year at no charge. The official website for doing so is http://www.annualcreditreport.com. We suggest you go to that site to obtain a copy of your credit report.
Bumping this thread to inquire about the same thing. I did a pull back in February, using my annual credit report.com and what the intake counselor went over with us at our first meeting yesterday is a little different. There are some charge off discrepancies. Are consumers able to pull the Tri-merge reports?
That’s weird that it’s not visible. I can see my credit report that my Mortgage Counselor pulled on my web-file. I’m in the “mortgage process” stage of my Purchase Program process though, during the other stages I was unable to see it. Its located on the right hand side of my web-file where it says “Lender Documents”
