I recently got approved during the achieve the dream event in Houston. Thank you for answering my question during the event by the way 🙂
I was reviewing the purchase workbook, and it states that the seller, listing agent and real state agent among others, need to be at the NACA office to close.
The closest NACA office I know is San Antonio (8hrs drive from El paso tx) and I was under the assumption that only myself needed to travel all the way to San Antonio, in order to close. But I think I will have a hard time trying to convince the other parties to drive 16 hrs total to close.
So I researched a little and found a post from August 23, 2016. Where it is explain that:
“The only time that we allow the closing to not take place at our office is when the buyer and seller are located so far from the nearest NACA office that travel to the office for the closing is impractical. ”
It was nice to meet you at the event and I was of course happy to answer your question. As I mentioned to you there, you kept the streak alive, meaning I have met at least one Forum member at every Achieve the Dream event I have been to.
I’m not sure that it’s written in stone, but typically a two hour drive is the point at which we will look at doing a “remote” closing. At eight hours each way, I have no doubt whatsoever that we can set it up through a local title company. Since you will most likely be working through the San Antonio office, contact the office manager there to discuss specifics for then the time arrives to close on your new home.
Hey, I also wanna know more about what is the workbook, Is there anyone who can explain to me. Till now I just heard homework or study books because I am not good in the study that’s I spend extra time in schools or on the study as well. Yeah, I take help also sometimes from studyclerk.com help like as Professional Essay Writing Service or few more. But I tried a lot to do my work by myself.
