Home › Forums › Purchase Program › can i go to naca event or i have to wait ?
hi
i did attend the workshop here in Chicago and after that i had my intake everything went smooth
i did submit all the list that my counselor ask me for , but i have to wait three months for the next appt to meet again,
a week ago i received an email saying there is an event in cleveland ohio and if you come you will meet with the lender ,but i couldn’t go i had to work and when i contacted my conselor ,i was told to wait until my next appointment
my question is : do i have to go to Indianapolis event to meet with the lenders directly and speed up the process or just wait till my next appt with my counselor
i just want to know i’m not in rush ,
thank you
Hello kenza,
The lenders who are in attendance at the American Dream Events are there for the Home Save Program. At no point in the Purchase Program do you have to meet with a lender.
You may be able to complete the next step and get submitted for qualification by attending the Indanapolis event, although there are no guarantees. I suggest that you go extremely well prepared with any document that you think might even possibly be needed as well as the ones you have already sent. Better to bring 50 pages you don’t need than not bring the one page you do need.
