ParticipantThis morning the bank cleared our application. Now, I have to wait to see when the processing department schedules the closing date, and then see if the seller still wants to sell.

ParticipantThat’s great news Manuel!! Hoping and praying that the sellers agree to sell you the house.

ParticipantI just got an email from the credit access coordinator requesting an extension for AT LEAST 15 DAYS.
They don’t seem to understand (or care) that the seller has put the house back on the market since last Friday and that he refused to sign an extension for 3 more days.
At this point, I have basically given up, and will continue with this just out of curiousity to see what NACA does.

ParticipantWOW!! That’s too bad 🙁 Did they say WHY they need an extension for at least 15 days?!?
Keep us updated.May 13, 2014 at 5:32 pm #10069mg76
ParticipantThanks for your prayers, ctsweety9.
They didn’t say why they need 15 days to close, even though the settlement company confirmed this morning that they are ready to do it. I have emailed all the persons who could resolve this issue, but have not obtained any response.

ParticipantI just got a reply from Erick Exum, National Director at NACA, saying that closing should happen on Friday. The seller agreed to sign an extension until then. Please, keep us in your prayers for this to be real.

PLEASE come back and let us know how closing went once you close.
We need to hear encouragement and happy endings!!May 18, 2014 at 3:08 pm #10116mg76
ParticipantThank you, readyToday and ctsweety9.
Closing wasn’t difficult. It took us an hour of explanations and signing documents.
Now we have to deal with HAND for the remodeling/rehab of our place. I hope it is not as chaotic as the home purchase.

MemberWe started our process on March 8, 2017 had our first meeting with our MC, the amazing but incredibly goofy Aequila Smith. She walked us through everything that we needed to get started. Next, we submitted all the documents required and I am not going to lie, the conditions were the worst. We had no debt at all, no credit cards, no student loans, no car note, etc.. Thank you God and Dave Ramsey! Furthermore, once we submitted everything we got our approval letter to purchase a home. So we shopped around and found something that we really liked. We submitted it to our MC and she was on it. In addition, we have the best realtor this side of heaven Keyanna Edinburgh who has been on it since day 1. So we got the house inspected, received the report on the things that were required to fix. The seller got everything repaired that was required and a few things that we wanted. Shortly after the repairs were fixed we got a call from the hand department to clear our file for repairs. Next, we had more conditions to return from the Lender, small stuff like verification of income, 30 day transactions, etc… In conclusion, it is now 04/28/2017 and we received our Clear to Close and we are so excited. Just some advise, yes this program can be a bit stressful and I wanted to give up; considering we did have other options. However, I did find out if you have your stuff together and put in the work; it is well worth it. People bash this company, and after reading the reviews my wife and I were really discouraged. So I felt compelled to leave a good one, because these guys are really Awesome! We are scheduled to close May 9th 2017, 13 days earlier than when we scheduled! So Excited!
