    I’ve been emailing for 2 days and haven’t gotten a response. I have called maybe a dozen times in the last 2 days, and all I get is hold music once I choose my prompt. Even the gotomeeting chat option says waiting for meeting organizer to launch meeting. What is going on??

    We had an appointment scheduled Friday, 2/26 at 12:30 pm. Our HC rescheduled it (at 12:36 pm) to “later in the day”. I sent two emails and left a voicemail after waiting all day for our rescheduled meeting (at an undetermined time) and didn’t hear back until this Monday, 3/1. I think I only heard back because I contacted the office admin. I was told he had an emergency and had to leave early, but that we would be submitted by the end of day on Monday, 3/1. I didn’t hear anything back all day.

    Tuesday afternoon, after several outreach attempts on my behalf (I waited on hold for over an hour), I was told that their system went down and they are backed up a few days for members. This might be the cause of the issue you are experiencing too. It sounds like all offices are overwhelmed at this time.

    I got on the gotomeeting chat earlier today. found someone to chat w/ that I recognized from NACA, only to be told the gotomeeting was for home buy and not the home save program, and that all offices for home save were closed this week for cleaning and reconstruction, which I think is crazy with so many needing help. NACA may not be able to help me in time because of this.

    Hello dellsguy67,

    I’m afraid you pretty clearly misunderstood what you were told on the GoToMeeting site, and the closure is anything but crazy. The office where the Home Save team is located is indeed closed, but not for cleaning and reconstruction. It’s for cleaning and sanitization after a Covid-19 outbreak that, I learned this afternoon, took the life of a NACA staff member who had been with us for more than a decade.

    The team is working from home, but it means that responses are slower than normal.

    I suggest you call NACA Member Services on Monday at 425-602-6222 for assistance.

    My confirmation for appointment this week gives an office address (D.C.). Does this mean that the appointment is in person? I don’t want to miss the appointment but I also thought it was going to be virtual for now. I have an immunocompromised system and don’t feel comfortable going to the building.

    Hello jharris77,

    Your appointment is NOT in person. All appointments for the foreseeable future are still online via videoconference. The address only refers to the office to which yoru file is currently assigned.

    I need help with my NACA ID. I attended a NACA workshop before the Pandemic. I never received an email to set up my account. I tried calling my Las Vegas branch but no one answers the phone. I emailed members services and no one replied.

    Can someone please help me get my NACA ID?

    All offices closed due to Pandemic. Phone system is down.
    Be patient is what I was told by NACA.

    Thanks for the update. NACA should consider loading real-time office hours by location on their websites so we can be informed. I am sure it would reduce frustration.

    I agree NACA should be more transparent about what’s going on. A message on their main site would be nice or some sort of formal announcement.
    I’ve been trying for days to schedule an appt. and trying to reach Member Services, via email and phone but no response. Yes frustrating.
