Congrats to you! That gives me a little hope. Mine was submitted May 22nd (allegedly) and I have YET to hear back, so I’ll give it a few more weeks 🙂June 12, 2012 at 1:11 pm #1089June 12, 2012 at 2:36 pm #1090
Thank you Mr. Trumble and gimme_my_house!
gimme- If I were you I would visit the office. I live 2 hours away from my “local” office. When there was a problem with my paystubs coming across illegible. I took the trip with my husband and personally brought in my paystubs to have them scanned- while there, my husband and I volunteered. It knocked out the required volunteer time we need to do prior to closing and I was able to spend time with my MC and get things in order. I really enjoyed volunteering and giving back to NACA, but I’m goofy like that.
Just a thought!June 12, 2012 at 8:30 pm #1096gimme_my_houseParticipant
I’ve done everything I possibly can at this point and sent everything they need, so I’ll just leave it in God’s hands now. I’ve held up my part of the bargain (doing EVERYthing that’s been asked of me), so it’s time for NACA to do theirs! Best of luck to you and you proceed 🙂June 12, 2012 at 11:03 pm #1099channon1208Participant
I have in a question or need some clarity. I spoke with guy in the Atlanta office who is handling my loan. He told me I do not sign my bank app until it gets approved. Does this mean I am in underwritting? or once the bank app ia approved than I go into underwritting? My web file has not changed since 2010 it still has my task list. There is no section D and all it shows is my qualified date. I have signed my contract, paid earnest money, had my inspection, accepted my HAND bid, secured HOI and showed proof of my remaing MRF and my buy down funds. I was lost in the NACA black hole for 8 months and will not let that happen again so I email my realator, MC and the guy who has my bank app every day to check to see if there is anything needed. My contract has a close date of July 5th and I am so close and very nervious. Mr. Trumble can you explain what happens from here.June 13, 2012 at 11:09 am #1101Murlin_evans1971Participant
channon — Congratulations! You are in the homestretch for sure. You are doing the right thing by contacting EVERYONE you have ever dealt with and have an email address for. I closed on May 10, so I believe in the program and am filled with gratitude. However, the right hand often does not seem to know what the left is doing. It is your job to keep bringing everyone to the same page. It’s out of your hand at this point but be aware the underwriters can come back at any time with a list of contingencies that you will have to clear up. But keep your chin up you are almost there. It took me a little over 45 days from contract acceptance to close (with one extension). Good luck!
