I have submitted a lot of documents both to my counselor and to my webfile. I logged on and something looked different but I cant put my finger on it. My action plan is nowhere to find and on the top it reads Qualification-pending. I dont recall seeing that before or maybe Im losing it from the anxiety of all of this. Anyone has an idea where it went and also I keep reading where people are saying they are getting text messages on there file. Whats that all about?
Wow. I kind of wish I got text message alerts instead of stalking my page. Thanks for answering my question. I was going crazy trying to figure out what that means! Now the waiting game.
Good luck with your process!!
What office are you working with? I am working with the Los Angeles office and I too am in “qualification pending” status. Yeahhhh for us. I am patiently waiting for the “pending” part to drop off and got to qualified and then on to housing search. My journey has been a long one and I know I am veering off to the next part.
Hi 2BLESSED. Im working with a really nice remote counselor whose located I believe in North Carolina. When I say she is a multitasker I mean it. I started my process earlier this year. Then decided to go to the recent ATD in my city last month. When I saw the change in status I could not remember when it happened cause Im always stalking my account. Lol.
When I say I am so nervous and excited at the same time. Good luck to you and absolutely let us know what happens. I will.
It’s been my experience that my MC is provided information from underwriters and is the MCs responsibility to update your file status and forward the information from the underwriters to you. It’s also been my experience that my MC forwards the underwriters comments to me the same day they are received AND before he updates my web file. Hopefully you are both in that boat so you don’t have to keep stalking the system.
My MC has been good at letting me know what the timelines are and the underwriters have between 24 and 48 (sometimes up to 72?) Hours to respond to each request. In almost every case I heard back next day. What causes delays in responses is weekends holidays and vacations.
NelsonT my housing counselor is the best. Its funny my next question was going to be how long does underwriting take? I assumed it would take about a week which I was dreading. But 24-72 hours is more manageable.
