    1. Hello Jason Kilgore,

      While we do have plans to open several new offices in the next couple of years, they do not include one in Utah. That does not necessarily mean that we cannot work with you there though. As long as we have the proper licensing in place for a given state, we can work with someone there, as evidenced by the work we are presently doing in Washington and Oregon through our Oakland, CA office.

      Off the top of my head, I don’t know if we have proper licensing for Utah, and I will have to consult the National Director of Operations to find out. You would most likely be working through either the Denver or Las Vegas office, but it may be possible to help Utah residents. I’ll post a follow up once I get a definitive answer.

  1. I’ve been trying to call. I nv keep getting put on hold. I have signed up for a meeting in las Vegas NV dec 8th. I need to cancel my reservation.

  2. I had made reservation to go Feb 16th to the seminar . I came down with the flu was not able to attend. I was given a reservation number #29539. Just completed Home Buyers Program on Feb 23th with Operation Push. Received certificate. Now ready for help with NaCa!! Please help me! THANK YOU.

      The NACA workshop is still the required first step in our process, so you will still need to attend an upcoming workshop. You can check on the NACA website for the next workshop with an available opening, or you can call NACA Member Services at 425-602-6222 for help.

  3. How can i get the upload info to send my documents to you all? I loaned my book and I need this info ASAP.

    1. Hi Tim,

      I’m currently in the process to get my qualification letter from NACA and MC has to finish reviewing my file to send to underwriting. I have sent all required documents in and needed to know how it works it regards to buying a property that is tenant occupied until March by a Section 8 family so it is illegal to kick them out or break lease contract. Realtor and Broker for home are willing to wait and work with me since they know NACA takes longer than normal for certain things. In this special case, Would I be able be able to close on this home this year and continue to live in my rental apartment until their lease is up in March. Please advise on how I can do to purchase this property that is active for sale.

      1. Hello Jesenia Reyes.

        In short, the program requires that you take possession at closing. The current tenants’ lease is with the present owner, so the protection until next March may not apply to the new owner of the home. You will need to check to make sure, and may need to consult a real estate attorney. Otherwise, your closing on the home would have to be delayed until the final day of the current tenants’ occupancy.

  4. I’m 7 days past my closing date and i’m still being asked for proof of current address (which is in the Naca portal) and waivers for changes on the appraisal (which i’m skeptical of signing since no one can tell me what has changed on the appraisal).

    What can be done to get the clear to close before my 14 day grace period ends so i don’t lose all of that money?

    I attended the webinar yesterday at 9 AM I tried to input my information for my web file login to get my NACA ID and I received an error message how do I get this information so I can upload my documents and my fiancé’s thank you in advance. I kept putting in the chat I was having audio issues and I tried emailing Ms Lea Sloan for the confirmation code . Please please I don’t want to attend the seminar for a third time can someone please help me ?

    1. Hello Dominique Symone Dipini,

      Unfortunately, the access codes given out at the end of the webinar or workshop are only valid for a very specific period of time after the conclusion of the event for security purposes, and are not given out through any other means whatsoever than at the end of the webinar. Specifically, this is to prevent the codes being used by people who did not attend the event and try to bypass the workshop/webinar, which is in fact a HUD requirement to be eligible for the NACA program.

      I know it’s not what you want to read, but you will have to participate in the webinar again to receive a valid code, then use it within the allotted time frame. There are no exceptions under any circumstances whatsoever.

    i attended the webinar Thursday April 23 5pm to 7 pm and my understanding is if you don’t get the qualification letter in 24 hr we suppose to contact local office unfortunately i did not get any thing i am suppose to take take Webinar angina plesee get back to me thanks.

      You actually answered your own question when you wrote, “if you don’t get the qualification letter in 24 hr we suppose to contact local office”. There is no need to retake the Purchase Workshop webinar. Just contact your local office or counselor to obtain the letter.

  7. I am requesting re-evaluation of my Naca file because of recent changes to my income and the fact that I have been in this program for far too long. I make appointments with the local counselors and am always met with the same questions that are evident to my situation. I am in need of a strong advisor to steer me in the right direction to complete the homeownership process. I leave the appointment not getting anything out of it, leaving the same paperwork. My circumstances have not changed or I am not understanding what specific criteria is needed. Thanks, in advance

      It appears you have not spoken with a counselor in roughly nine months. At that time, you were given a written Action Plan on what items needed to be taken care of to move your file forward.

      Please see to it all items in the Action Plan have been fulfilled and that your documents (paystubs, tax returns, W2’s, tax transcripts, bank statements and credit card statements are all up to date. Once you have done so, please call NACA Member Services at 425-602-6222 to schedule a counseling appointment or register for an upcoming Achieve the Dream event. Because of the amount of time that has elapsed, you will also need to pay your annual dues and the fee for a fresh credit report during the counseling appointment.

      Please make sure your file is up to date and to follow your counselor’s instructions so we can get your back on the path toward homeownership.

    We have our one day Virtual same day pre approval counseling session on 06/20/2020 with David Rodriguez. We didn’t have all the documents and we were told to load the remaining documents to submit the application and just call the member services number for virtual appointment.
    We have loaded all the remaining documents and have been calling to schedule the virtual counseling but no one is answering nor responding to our messages.

    At one point I was put on hold for almost an hour just to hung up on me.

  9. Hi Can a Supervisor please contact me!!
    Or how can I get in contact with my counselors supervisor.
    I have not received one single response for many weeks now. Everything Has been submitted for 4/5 weeks. I had an appointment today and apparently the counselor decided not to hold it. Now this is the second time reschedule yet there was a no show as I received no call no meeting I’d and not one response.
