July 26, 2020 at 8:15 pm in reply to: I’M QUALIFIED!! Where do I sign up for the Purchase Workshop! #70817
sweetlilly
Participant@Lady B you can take the purchase workshop if you want but you will not get credit for it.
You have to be qualified to be credited for it.I took it yesterday even though I was just submitted today for qualification.
i was just curious and had time on my hands. It takes about an hour and a half.
Virtually all of the information comes form the Purchase Workbook.sweetlilly
ParticipantThanks a million for the feedback.
Yes, your timeline is certainly the type of testimony needed to keep on grinding.
Much appreciated.sweetlilly
Participant@@tdm27603 thanks for chronicling your journey.
Its always good to hear about the success stories nothing withstanding the twists and turns in the process.
Its certainly helpful for those of us still going through this process.
Regarding the LOEs you had to send, did you have to use a certain format. Still waiting on my MC to respond to me regarding how he wants them sent.
Thanks once again for your time.sweetlilly
Participant@TTrumble thanks for this piece of nugget ” 401k contributions MAY be counted as part of Payment Shock Savings ” !!!

Participant@Untrue2all… Yes the NACA journey can be frustrating BUT a SCAM it is not.
It is still the best game in town…bar none!!!sweetlilly
Participant@Bella7 i had an initial engagement with one at the ATD event some time in May of this year.
She gave me an Action Plan with a list of things to upload /explain (LOE).
I completed them and sent her an email to that effect and never got a response back.I contacted Services and they scheduled a meeting with another MC this past Thursday.
He was somewhat helpful but his audio stopped working during the GoTo meeting session.
He was still helpful in helping me collect all of my rental checks (front and back) from BOA and do my Employment verification via theworknumber. So we made some progress.
I still felt the original MC could have helped with these back in May but I am not sweating it.
This new MC wanted me to resend my LOEs saying i did not send them in the correct format. He was going to send me a template to use but i have not heard back from him.I am basically just reviewing my Action Plan to ensure i cover all my bases before sending him an email by Thursday to see if he needs anything else from me before moving things along.

ParticipantFor what its worth, same here. My employer does not do over the phone verification.
Its all set up in a way where the verifier using a code/key you provide, logs into a portal to do the verification.Looks like this is a new and growing trend.

Participant@momsmuffin sorry to hear about your ordeal.
Certainly not a good look.sweetlilly
ParticipantI believe your best bet would be Member Services at Services@naca.com or call (425) 602-6222.
Also for what its worth, IE is the recommended browser. Doesn’t hurt to try the other browsers to see if you run into the same issue.
