Hello! Just starting the process! Have not yet attended the Web File webinar. Anywho..
My intake appointment is not until April but I have started uploading documents. Should I continue to update paystubs as I go or just wait until appointment and do most recent. Also I see a couple of things saying pending just wondering what that means. Again just starting the journey and have not yet had the chance to attend the webinar so my questions may be common sense but not for me at the moment! Thanks!February 24, 2020 at 12:01 pm #65755NelsontMember
Always update your webfile with your pay stubs bank statements credit card statements utility and phone bills and anything else EVERY time you get a new one until the day you are handed the keys to your house. Do it now. The worst case scenario is that you are over prepared.
Everything in your webfile needs to be reviewed by your MC and then the underwriters. Everything will say pending until then. Some things stay pending until your MC or the underwriter gets around to changing the status. I had pending things in there until 3 months after I closed.
Good luck!February 24, 2020 at 12:20 pm #65756BakerTheBakerMember
Update constantly – as close to instantly as you can manage. I set a calendar to remind me when everything would be available – every credit card statement, bank statement, paystub, student loan payment – everything. It’s a good habit to get into now as it will help you be on top of everything once the time crunches start to hit – keeping your file “up to the minute” helps everyone at NACA and BOA do their jobs quickly and efficiently.February 24, 2020 at 5:13 pm #65776
@Nelsont and @BakertheBaker thanks for the help! I’ll continue to update then. I know we upload our lease but can I also upload a letter stating I live there and pay X amount and then wait until they send out verification? For my student loans should I upload IBR agreements and then each payment made or payment history so far? I’ll be attending the webinar tonight so I’ll clarify but I appreciate you guys’ responses!March 3, 2020 at 11:18 am #65951
For my bank statements, can I just print them off from the banks web page. My statements go to my moms so I think she’s miss placed them. I have my statements from December but I just wanted to make sure I could print them off or would I have to check with the bank to see about printing off statements?March 3, 2020 at 11:51 am #65952NelsontMember
That could be an issue.
You should be able to go to your online account and download a statement in PDF and then print it out. BUT your statement address will need to match your current address and your driver’s licence…March 3, 2020 at 12:17 pm #65953
Ok thanks! Ok! My bank statements and license have my parents address since I use that as my permanent address. All my tax documents, stubs have my current address! Hopefully those are my only issues 🙂 since they are minor! Thank you!March 3, 2020 at 3:48 pm #65959BakerTheBakerMember
Just to bump the importance of this.. We’re just being submitted for Credit Access, and because I forgot to upload the bank statement on Friday for one of our accounts, we got put on hold until it was done. Update to the minute!
