    Hello NACA Family,

I am going through the application process for NACA and I’m excited. I’m single looking to purchase a condo/townhouse in Austin, TX.

I’m having issues uploading things into my webfile. I tried emailing, faxing, and uploading and member services is telling me they don’t see any of my documents on their end. When I look at my portal, my documents are listed as “pending”. I would hate to show up to my appointment with nothing on file.

Besides going to the San Antonio office to upload my documents, is there anything else I can do? Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?

    Thanks for your help!

Hello! Iā€™m not sure of that, but when I went to my meeting I had hard copies of all the files that I emailed and uploaded. What she needed I handed it to her and she uploaded them in the system herself.

@sc42486, I also have had trouble with uploading recently. I’ll echo the advice of @kirkan1981 and say that it’s always a great idea to bring in hard copies of everything, even if you did upload it successfully.

My MC actually preferred that we just bring everything in, so she could choose what to scan and check to make sure all the right pages were there.

Also, make sure all of your print outs are single-sided. That’ll save a lot of time when scanning.

    Good luck!

    Also,

Every page of things like Bank Staements need to be scanned, including those with a watermark that says “this page left intentionally blank.” In other words, if your statement has 13 pages, everyone of those 13 pages need to be uploaded.

    good luck.

Thank you everyone for your advice! I will probably go in before hand and scan everything in or bring hard copies and scan everything the day of my appointment. I will ask my MC what she prefers.

I finally finished reading the user guide and I realized it discusses the “pending status.” Lesson learned. Read the manual first! Most answers are in there.

    Thanks again~ I’m excited

    Hello sc42486,

The Forum family did a great job with their advice regarding documents. So all I will add is, “what they said…”.

Also, good job finishing the workbook. EVERYONE needs to read the workbook, cover to cover.

    Hello,

Any updates on the WebFile issues? It will not let me enter anything in the period ending and pay date fields.

I read from a member whom recently went through the process say, the best approach is to email your documents to your web file with the provided email address and to copy your MC.

The point is, don’t try to just upload the documents to your web file, many members seem to have issues with that process/upload.

    Good luck.

    @hammerdown74,

I think I’m creating my own issues. I upload my documents from my work computer and I’m not allowed to send them via e-mail unless it’s encrypted. With the WebFile being down, I guess I will have to use our fax machine today.

    Thank you for your feedback.

BTW – The date issue was sort of fixed. You can enter dates, but you can’t enter the number 8 in the end date field. Even if you work around that, Member Services cannot view the documents so as of right now it appears to be a waste of time to upload anything online.

    Hello All,

If you are having issues with the updated functions in the upload process, please email me with the specifics and I will forward them to our Database Consultant. The feedback will help iron out any “bugs”.

BTW if you are using the email method, remember to keep the total size of the email under 10 mb. Otherwise, email filters along the line may block it from going through.
