I have an appointment for tomorrow with the Philadelphia office. Since it is a new month, I was just wondering if the meeting will be virtual still or if the office will be reopening. I requested off of work, but did not get the day off and the Philadelphia office is 45 minutes from my house, so I just wanted to make sure before I rush over there after work. Does anyone know if the meetings are still virtual or in person?June 30, 2020 at 8:51 pm #69921NelsontMember
Yes. Still virtual. I would imagine everything is virtual until states completely lift all restrictions. @ttrumble mentioned yesterday something to the effect of possibly until a vaccine.June 30, 2020 at 9:00 pm #69923July 1, 2020 at 12:47 pm #69944TTrumbleMember
Yes, all appointments will still be online for the foreseeable future, whether with a local counselor or at an ATD event.
We are in the process of taking the first baby steps to getting our staff members back in the local offices, but in-person appointments will not be happening again for quite a long while.July 1, 2020 at 11:20 pm #69986
Thank you @ttrumble. I had my meeting today and will be submitted for qualification tomorrow. Fingers crossed!July 2, 2020 at 2:13 am #69987
@ttrumble ,how does NACA go about doing closings?
By the way, check your email from Kefir (carl….@gmail.com) please.
Hope you and the staff stay safe!!!!July 2, 2020 at 12:17 pm #70009TTrumbleMember
I’m actually glad you asked about closings during the pandemic. How the offices have handled it has been both very creative and rather amusing.
A lot of the offices have literally conducted closings outdoors! They have taken a folding table and some chairs out on the sidewalk in front of the office. Other offices with larger conference rooms have put the documents on a clipboard and slid them across the conference table (like a beer in the saloon of an old western movie) to maintain a six-foot distance. And of course, masks, gloves and sanitizer have all been a part of the equation as well.
I saw your email in my inbox this morning and will address it later this afternoon.July 2, 2020 at 1:29 pm #70013
You have creative and amusing responses as your really paint the picture.
Well, that’s awesome! But in this state, Nevada, I hope the conference room is large enough because it’s been above 100 degrees.
Okay, thanks for acknowledging the receipt of my email and look forward to your afternoon response.
@mojorysing, hope you’re qualified soon!July 3, 2020 at 1:34 am #70032
I checked my inbox and spam, but I didn’t see that email.
I suspect that you were busy. I hope that you can find time as early as possible on 07.03.2020 to respond as I would like to put in an offer which obviously would include the earnest money and the concerns that I addressed regarding that via email.
Thanks and stay safe!!!!
