I was scheduled for my Intake meeting/ATD Event (virtual) today Sun May 31. I got an email at 5:50pm saying a counselor will call me within an hour. It’s 8:10pm and I haven’t heard anything else. I didn’t get an email either with the link to go to the GoToMeeting, which is what my initial confirmation said would happen. Seems like I was skipped over. I emailed NACA services almost an hour ago but I’m assuming they won’t see it until Monday. I was checking the queue all day and my number was going down all day, once I was 50th in line, my queue number went away and I had no number, and I got an error saying my file couldn’t be found. Has this happened to anyone else… I spent a lot of time making sure all my documents were ready and loaded and I literally sat here all day waiting for when I’ll get messages and now my Sunday is gone and I didn’t even get a meeting…?June 1, 2020 at 12:00 pm #68794krr343Participant
I’m sorry to hear that. Did you ever hear from someone?June 1, 2020 at 12:24 pm #68795frankysmomMember
Sorry that happened. Perhaps member services can be of assistance, they are open today.
Also, there is an event chat room, Thursday-Sunday, for such issues. Same thing happened to me, told them in chat and they had counselor call us back.

Thanks for responding. I received an email this morning saying to contact Naca’s Event Support on “this coming even starting May 28 8am to 8pm” and someone will help. That date has already passed, so I don’t know what to do. I responded for clarification, no response yet.June 1, 2020 at 2:44 pm #68800June 3, 2020 at 12:05 pm #68898
I had to schedule my intake appointment for mid July now. Really frustrating since I signed up for the May 31 ATD event and someone at NACA dropped the ball and didn’t contact me for my time even though I received the email saying someone would contact me within the hour, and now I can’t start this process until July. I’m keeping the appointment for now, will check in for updates to move my appointment earlier if someone handles my inquiries at the time, but right now I’m thinking NACA won’t be for me. I’ve barely started and already hit humps, judging by the other blog posts I’m pretty sure I’ll hit other roadblocks trying to get into contact with counselors, etc. so we will see what will happen. I’ll also be reaching out to other mortgage loan offers to see my options as I will not let NACA postpone by home buying goals.
In the end I’m hoping NACA will work, and I’m glad it has worked out for other people, but I’m keeping my options open for my best interest.
