I had conditions popping up every day last week. All conditions were addressed on 05/14May 19, 2020 at 11:13 am #68196Robin2546Participant
How do you know what stage you’re in during the process?? When I log in to our Web File it doesn’t tell me anything. We were told that our stuff was submitted to the UW 5/14 but haven’t heard anything since.May 19, 2020 at 12:06 pm #68199Al92Member
When you log in to your Web-File you can see your progress on the main page.
Your Status and who is your Councelor.
Your status starts with Intake Preparation -> Qualification Process -> Housing Search -> Bank Submission-> Mortgage Process -> Post ClosingMay 19, 2020 at 12:16 pm #68200Robin2546Participant
Well ours still says Intake Preparation although we’ve submitted everything and had our initial intake session on 5/8. Did a second pass early last week and was told our stuff was submitted to the UW. There is no Counselor name on it but we have been speaking with one. I’m so confused. Our action plan says Status as Homeownership Ready.June 7, 2020 at 9:38 pm #69103jenmolette123Participant
Agreed. I was told by member services no response is necessary at this time when they failed to help me with an issueJune 9, 2020 at 7:29 am #69138
I am equally frustrated. My closing date was May 18. However, due to the closures we were pushed back. I’ve been approved with outstanding conditions since April. Once the state of Pa opened back up 3 weeks ago, I have had some movement on my file. I was cleared by HAND last week though. I had addiitional conditions removed since last week and still haven’t been cleared to close. I don’t have any conditions I can see. Member services is unhelpfull. I have emailed the mortgage department numerous times without a response. I found out my MC quit 3 weeks ago and was only notified last week. So basically nobody had been working my file or advocating on my behalf and this is during the mortgage process. We are not a priority at this point. All resources are spent qualifying participants. I emailed escalations and I received an automated response stating to contact my MC. I am beyond frustrated. I don’t even see the point in emailing anymore because nobody responds. I have been patient as we have endured a pandemic and now protests and civil unrest. However I don’t know what else to do because I have already given my landlord notice and need to move asap. I’m considering an apartment at this point because I can’t be homeless. The seller is regretting using naca. It feels like naca caters to new clients and the communication is non-existent. Feeling beyond disappointed and left out to dry.June 9, 2020 at 8:13 am #69139NelsontMember
You might not be able to see conditions because they might not be for you. Sometimes conditions are marked for naca or boa to follow up internally like say maybe for the underwriter to get a supervisor to approve something or maybe to contact the appraiser or something like that.
Have you tried contacting the mortgage department at 714-822-6222? This is a separate department from member services. Member services can help with generic requests. The mortgage department can usually see the conditions that don’t show up and give you an idea of what to expect.June 9, 2020 at 8:43 am #69144
Unfortunately due to the pandemic the mortgage department is working remotely and only accepting emails to which I have sent numerous only to be unanswered.June 30, 2020 at 6:24 pm #69915AlmostParticipant
@jaylagirl2012 Did you ever get any movement in your file? If so, what did you do? Finding myself in the same boat as my MC won’t reach back out to me to start Credit Access. I’ve tried everything.June 30, 2020 at 7:24 pm #69918
@almost I finally closed June 22. I continued to email the regional director as did my agent. They escalated the file with the lender. Even after CTC I had to have them escalate the file further with BOA because the person doing final verbal verification of my employment was out sick and time was of the essence. Essentially I just continued to follow up with all parties and asked for confirmation of received documents. I did morning emails and midday check ins to see where we were in the process and focused more on actionable tasks and items rather than emotions and what I’d been through because ultimately it didn’t matter. I hope everything works out for you.
