I just attended a virtual ATD event to learn that they are no longer providing the underwriters to qualify you on the spot anymore because there are too many people, her exact words. She said that this was a change. I am disappointed because I sat all day waiting for my number to come just to be told that. Did I miss a memo being sent out about this? I thought that was the purpose of the ATD event. Day wasted.
The ATD events have been a bust for me. Today I received a text that I will receive a call from a counselor and I never received a call. Instead, I received an email that I missed my appointment followed by an email with a link to meet with my counselor. I clicked the link anyway and my meeting was scheduled from 1:30-1:45 yet my counselor was a no call, no show. This is the second ATD event that I’ve attended that resulted in NOTHING!
It seems there’s no consistency with any communication for these events. Maybe NACA needs an overhaul and a refresh of its virtual process. They need to make sure their booklets, websites, texts and other outreach materials are uniform with it’s messaging.
If I ever get qualified, I’m telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth about this program.
