    Hello Future Homeowners,

I’ve read a lot of threads here and for the most part I see the Underwriting time frame is usually about 72hrs. My file was originally sent to underwriting on 6/2. Came back with conditions on 6/6. I addressed the conditions and it was resubmitted on 6/14 and as of today I still haven’t heard anything. I have called member services who just refers me to my MC. However my MC does not answer her phone nor emails. I did speak with the assistant at my local office who just said it didn’t come back yet. Is this normal. Should I be concerned?

    Thanks

    Hello charice80,

Don’t let yourself get concerned over (literally) nothing. The fact that you haven’t heard back means one of two things: either underwriting is simply backed up at the moment, or they came back with conditions that will be taken care of internally and don’t require your attention.

Continue to EMAIL your counselor once a day (maximum) about the current status. Don’t waste your time on calling. Your counselor is no doubt in nearly continual appointments with other members during the course of the day which makes calling a far less practical means of communication.

You’re just over a week since re-submission, so give it until the end of the day tomorrow. If you haven’t heard anything by then, Please email me on Monday and I’ll look into it for you.
