    Any idea what I should be expecting in terms of a timeline to hear back from the lender after submitting the loan application and being in the mortgage process?

    We submitted about 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything. No conditions or contact whatsoever. From what I’ve seen from reading other forum posts/comments, it sounds like BoA usually responds pretty quickly with conditions so I am getting a bit nervous.

    Our original closing date is 9/15 (don’t think we are gonna make it) but it sounds like the seller is getting nervous because we don’t have a loan commitment letter yet.

    Greetings @tomf?

    I hope this message finds you doing well! I would ask you have you been able to log into your web file to see if there are any conditions as the conditions would be on the first page when you log into your web file? Also have you been able to reach your MC? Please do the following: 1. send and email/voicemail to your MC. 2. contact the local office as well as you can send an email to communications@naca.com with your full name, naca id, email, contact number checking your status. I do apologize for this delay and hope this information helps!

    Thanks Damien, I have been logging into my web file multiple times each day to check the status. I also reached out to my MC and she told me on Friday that “the lender is registering the application, and we need to keep checking the file in a few days to check if they issue any conditions.” I will continue trying to stay in touch with them. I’m getting the close-to-closing crazies because I haven’t seen anything from the lender and it seems like most people usually have heard back with conditions by now.

    @tomf,

    I understand as I have been there and I would say just keep checking your web-file and if you see something respond as quickly as possibly with the documents. I hope this helps!
