When I was going through the process there were not nearly as many web file statuses as there seems to be now. With that said the only reason your MC wouldn’t submit your file to underwriting the same day (during business hours) is if they do not think you have sent them everything. You need to confirm with your MC if there is anything else they need from you.
Call NACA Member Services at 425-602-6222. They can tell you. In fact, Member Services should be the resource you use for all routine status updates so as to not pile more on the plate of a counselor carrying an already heavy workload.

I noticed my status changed to “Qualification – Pending” on the webfile right away, but since Tim mentioned it, I just called Member Services to verify and in about 30 seconds a lovely woman named Alice confirmed everything our MC had told us.
