I got the loan estimate last week, approved it and haven’t heard a word about credit access since. Hopefully yours gets on it soon.

Our MC scheduled our Credit Access appointment for Tuesday, and at the same time the Loan Estimate was sent, so he’s working very quickly on that. I’ve assured him it will be later, but our contract still says closing on March 15th (new construction) so he’s trying to get it all done ASAP. In reality, we’ll be lucky if the house delivers by April 15th, the week before our current lease runs out. There’s a good chance we’ll be visiting the Extended Stay America for a few weeks.. lol

You can go ahead and schedule the credit access appointment yourself if you want to.

I did call to get an appointment scheduled but they told me to wait until my MC contacts me for one. We will see if he finally reaches out this coming week. If not I wonder if I should request a new MC. I’ve called and emailed multiple times already.

Changing typically is only allowed prior to being under contract and is only allowed once under certain circumstances. Meaning distance or remote to in office or vice versa. They don’t like to approve an in office change to another MC in the same office.

At this point in the process you don’t want to change if at all possible. If you do change your MC will need to start from scratch. If you don’t like your new MC you are stuck because changing a 2nd time is not allowed. As long as your local office confirms your MC still works there just continue to trust the process. There is a possibility that your MC is not entirely concerned with scheduling your credit access right away because they have faith based on your previous meetings and your current contract that you will get credit access approved with ease.
