I was referred to NACA after I did not qualify for a traditional mortgage because of my student loan debt (that is current deferred). I did my workshop on 9/18 and got an appointment with someone in the Minneapolis office on 10/29 that I booked through my web file.

I tried calling my local office to connect with someone and was redirected to member services where I was told that there has not been anyone in the Minneapolis office all year and all cases are getting referred to the Chicago office.

This concerned me greatly as I have an appointment with someone from my local office…

I have also been trying to contact my MC and have not heard back. I am trying to see if I can get put on a waiting list for cancellations to get in earlier.

I’ve been through the mortgage process three times, have all my ducks in a row and have my MRF due to needing 3,5% DP for an FHA loan.

I live in the George Floyd Memorial area and my neighbor is willing to sell us his house (with a price range I could afford even on the high end since I’m paying $1400/month in rent right now). My partner is a community organizer with the movement and we want to stay here long term.

I’ve been getting discouraged hearing from others about no-shows from their MC’s or their MC’s disappearing all together.

Unsure where to turn and how to actually get ahold of my MC or even my local Minneapolis office to find out more. I’ve already emailed and called my assigned MC for the intake appointment with no response.

If I were you, I would try to attend one of the virtual ATD events being that you already have most of your things. That way you could potentially get qualified quickly OR call member services back and explain your situation and see if they can assist you!
