Most of what you are asking is just not a good idea.
You can request someone specific, but the odds are the request will be denied. Furthermore, it is highly unlikely that you will be able to get an appointment sooner with another remote counselor. Their calendars run pretty much parallel for open appointments.
Likewise, even if you try to get transferred back to the local office, you’ll be in the same shape since the Newark office is one of the busiest in the country and you will face just as long a delay.
Double dipping on counselors and trying to have two scheduled appointments is basically trying to have your cake and eat it too, so that will absolutely be denied.
Bottom line is that you’re doing yourself more harm than good trying to bounce between counselors. If you like your present counselor, stick with her and just ask her to keep you in mind for when somebody cancels out on an appointment. I’m sure she will understand and will do the best she can to keep you from having to wait so long.
