I am responsible for providing my grandparents with ubers/lyfts to and from work, doctors appointments, etc. Actually, the majority of the transactions on my checking accounts for ubers/lyft rides. I am reimbursed for the rides via cash but many times I dont deposit it into my account because its so inconvenient to run to an atm or branch. Should I write an LOE explain this. I am really nervous that they are going to count this against me.
You will definitely be questioned about it. A loe should suffice. And really if they are small transactions it might not matter. It will never count as debt and will only hurt you if it eats into your payment shock. If you are able to pay all your bills and save your payment shock in addition to pocketing the cash you have nothing to worry about.
