My husband and I are in the process of qualifying for NACA. We took the rental verification to our leasing office who said they are not allowed to do fill out such a form. Instead they said we should print off our rental history ledger from online, but this is not official enough. What are my options if they refuse to fill this out?
Look in the qualification book. It states vor or apartment lease and 12 months history from bank account. My apartment complex did not complete the vor correctly so I provided copy of my apartment lease and 12 month history from my bank account and that took care of it.
Your lease agreement and proof of on time payment either by cancelled checks or bank statements if you pay electronically should be sufficient for the Verification of Rental requirement.
BTW, the odds are very much in favor of the leasing office just not wanting to be bothered filling our the form for you. It’s not a matter of them not being allowed to. Take one last shot and have them get their regional director on the phone for you to confirm that they are not permitted to fill out the form. It won’t surprise me if you suddenly get “special permission” for them to fill out the form and return it to us. (Remember, you aren’t allowed to touch the form at any point after authorizing it. they have to send it directly back to us.)

@ttrumble is there somewhere we could print off the verification form to give to our landlord? Or where they could go to print it off? Trying to stay ahead and decrease any hold ups. I have mentioned verification to him. I saw on another post where they were saying the company had to have a letterhead or a stamp business card etc. I don’t rent through an actual company just a person owning a couple properties so I don’t want to request things of him he doesn’t have or have him refuse because he doesn’t have company letterheads etc.
