I have been reading up on the forums and I see where a lot of people are just stuck at this point and understandably frustrated. I am going to the event next month and would like to know what my chances are to get qualified at the event. I saw where Tim mentioned that some people get “conditional” qualification. I am still at the beginning just trying to get qualified but I must be honest reading most of these post is really scary.
It was not hard for me to get qualified because I cleaned up my credit prior to going to the initial workshop. I made sure I had all my paperwork such check stubs other income w2s and tax return. I also wrote letters for addresses listed on credit reports and I got IBR letter from student loans. Just stay organized because they will ask for the information. I forgot to mention bank statements
Thanks @rjones016 I didn’t really have credit that needed cleaning up. The collection accounts I do have are all going to expire and fall off my report next year. I did have some credit cards I wanted to pay off to increase purchase power. I am trying now to get organized and trust me that’s hard because I am NOT an organizer by nature.
Great! I see a couple of forum people will be attending. I will be easy to spot. Look for the girl who will be looking wide eyed and a tad bit scared! I am attending the Thursday session hoping to get answers that day but I took PTO for the Friday as well. I have been following your post so I hope you can get qualified before then!
@kirkan1981 lol then I guess both of our eyes will look the same. Just look for the girl with the big afro ponytail. I wasnt sure if I should do the thursday or the Saturday since I just need to get the UW approval.
