Yay! it’s been a long road, but I am finally qualified as of today! I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that my status finally changed online. They asked for literally EVERYTHING under the sun as far as documentation is concerned. If you are new to this process, I think the keys to success with this program are; Keep your documents handy so you can fax and re-fax them right away when they request them, put their fax number on speed dial and call and follow up (politely)often. I am soooooo excited that I can finally start looking for a home!!!! Thank you NACA!
Thanks for the advice. Another really good tip a Forum member shared recently is to create either a Dropbox or Google Drive account to store your documents. They provide enough space for free to hold your documents for this process, and it will give you access to them anywhere you can get on the web.
Uploading to a cloud is a very good idea. My MC has called a few times requesting information that I already submitted. I was able to go right to my cloud and get the document and email it to her via my phone.
Mr. Trumble. hope all is well. I am new to the blog but not new to the Naca process. My wife and I have been trying to get qualified for around 8 months now. We have taken and faxed all information that our counselor is asking for. It seems that we are back at square one, never ending. We thought that all the info the counselor was asking for would get us qualified. We understand that you have to have patience but geez. We have emptied our safe and given everything we know about ourselves and finances. lol
