Hey al! My housing counselor is finally submitting my file ! Yay! Running into a bump. She is asking for copies of canceled checks i bank with Wells Fargo so i want online to scan the canceled checks with my iPhone. She is asking that they are all on the same page. Wait, she wants all of the cancelled checks on one page? Or she wants the front and back of any one cancelled check on the same page?
If it’s that each one, front and back, has to be on the same page, you should be able to just download a pdf from your online portal.
(FYI, we had to give not just the cancelled check, but also a transaction report to prove the money came out of our bank on a month not yet complete, so no bank statement yet).

I had a similar issue in the beginning as well. I had provided a scanned copy of my current lease and transaction history for rent payments for the last 12 months filtered through a transaction filter search on your online bank account. If you use chrome you can easily save it as pdf or print it out. To combine them I guess you will need to print them out and scan into one pdf.

I had the same issue and had to do the things you described. My MC also made my realtor prepare a statement that she received the earnest money deposit and put it into their escrow account. With respect to having the URL print on your page, under one of your print options/settings make sure “headers and footers” is ON! I went through a lot of back and forth with my MC before I figured out how to give him what he wanted. 🥳 congratulations we are in the last stretch of this NACA marathon.

@taco thank you for the heads up! I did submit with the headers/footers on so i hope I’m all clear there. I hope everything else happens like clock work because resubmitting things lost and what not has been terrible plus I’m at work while attempting to resubmit things to her! @movingmass So the earnest money doesn’t go to the seller? I was, too! I was thinking it was like any other deposit, but it’s not.
The realtor collects the earnest money and holds it — they’re licensed as the “escrow” agent, too. Then, as long as everything goes as it should with the sale, they transfer the earnest money to the next escrow agent, which in Massachusetts is the closing attorney and in most places is the title company. For NACA, the earnest money will then be applied against your closing costs, including interest buy down or principal reduction, if you choose to do either. Any excess will be refunded to you.
If all DOESN’T go as it should, though, if the buyer breaches the purchase and sale contract in some way, then the earnest money would go to the seller.May 14, 2020 at 1:36 pm #67988
