I successfully purchased our house through NACA in December and got the deed in the mail a couple weeks later. Problem: my name is spelled wrong on the deed. It’s a minor misspelling, but nonetheless I don’t want this biting me in the butt years down the road (and it’s kind of annoying that I’m getting spam mail under the bad spelling now).
I’ve been emailing the title company once a week ever since about getting the deed corrected, and every time it’s “I thought this was already handled” or “we’re working on it”, but it’s been two months now? I’m about to contact them again, but since the purchase was through NACA is this something MAP can help with at all?
