    Looks like all of my conditions have been cleared and/or waived except for one, but my file is now with UW. This is great progress, right?!

    @ttrumble I had my re-inspection done today, and the seller is out of town for the rest of the week. How soon do invoices have to be submitted to HAND prior to closing?

    Hello wssu08,

    There are other variables between submission of the invoices and the closing that can affect the timeline. Typically though, that puts you 10 to 12 days from the actual closing in most cases.

    @ttrumble I just checked with HR today, and they’re stating no VOE has been received. The VOE was added to my file yesterday. I’ve tried emailing my MC but she didn’t respond.

    Hello wssu08,

    The final VOE just prior to the Clear to Close is performed by the bank and is verbal (over the phone), so you’ve got me a bit confused. Your employer shouldn’t have received a physical VOE form.

    @ttrumble I didn’t mean a physical VOE. HR confirmed they haven’t received a call from Citi.

    Nothing to be worried about. The call is literally just about the very last thing they do before the Clear to Close is given.

    I was cleared to close on 3/1/17 with a DOR 3/10 but I still haven’t received my commitment letter or CD. My file says pending insurance update and VOE since 3/1/17.

    My counselor hasn’t responded to if the updated insurance info was sent to Citi. Does anyone think I’ll receive the CD today?
