    45 day COE date was today; we are now technically in breach of contract. Knew 4 days ago it would be delayed a couple of days; MC suggested a 2-week extension. Seller balking at extending at all and definitely not 2 weeks. Sent 3 emails to MC today and left 3 voicemails, asking for something solid on which Seller can rely, only to learn at 4:30pm that MC’s last day was Friday. I realize one MC does not make NACA, but we need help NOW!

    From the way your post reads, you are panicking, and that’s the worst thing you can do. The fact is that 20% (one in five) of all real estate transactions industry-wide do not close on time. Both your real estate agent and the seller’s agent know this and should have no problem whatsoever creating the extension.

    Please contact the office manager at your local NACA office or NACA Member Services at 425-602-6222 to check on your file and determine what is needed to keep it moving forward.
