    @nelsont The appraiser had the correct seller on the first two appraisals. There was an addendum added that said per client it was changed to who our builder bought the land from. The appraiser had it right the first two times. It wasn’t the appraiser’s mistake.

    In our opinion, the uw did a search back in September, when we signed the agreement and didn’t look it up again which did show the old developer, Van Metre/Arcadia. I’m not sure of the specifics of how long the buying process was for the builder, but NVR sent an updated deed that had 11/19 on it.

    If the uw would’ve checked after 9/19, they would’ve seen what is now public record—-NVR inc. Instead they requested (I think its BOA and not NACA, but I have no idea who the ‘client’ is) the appraiser changed the seller name to Arcadia, who our builder bought the land from.

    With all that being said, the uw is saying ROI Strategies is the title owner and Storybrook-Cadence is the seller on our appraisal…Niether of those names are listed anywhere. Googling comes up to nothing. Van Metre’s parent company is Arcadia so the uw is not pulling the old info anymore. NVR is the parent company, so it wouldn’t show anything else. The guy they are saying signed our purchase agreement is someone at an investment company in Florida that I can’t readily tie to any of these companies.
