I have been looking into down payment assistance programs. I am interested in the Georgia Dream grant. Being that I’m a resident of GA and healthcare worker I qualify for a larger grant amount. I would love to use this program to help reduce monthly payment. Can someone let me know if NACA works with this program and if so what is the process?
Hello. Did you ever find out if NACA will work with this program? I do not see NACA listed as a participating lender so I am thinking they do not.
I have yet to receive a definite answer. According to my NACA counselor, she doesn’t “THINK” so. I asked member services and got “YES”. When I asked about the process, I got referred back to my counselor. Getting accurate info from NACA has been a headache and a run around.
Hello HomeOwnerDreamer77,
From what I could find about the Georgia Dream program, it appears to be a full home ownership program instead of just a down payment assistance program. Your best bet to verify one way or the other is to pose the question directly to the people at the Georgia Dream program.

I hope this help.
I know the City of Atlanta has it because my counselor told me, they provide $20k grant if you are buying n the city, unfortunately I am not buying in the city and looking for some program to get some grant as well.
