    @firmeh89 not yet. Im ready to close but the sellers are not due to the holidays. My closing is either the 31st or Jan 3rd. So soon. But everything with NACA is cleared and ready to go.

    Are you guys able to share what title company was used? I’m purchasing in Suffolk County.

    You should receive a list of acceptable title companies at your purchase workshop after qualification. In some cases there is only one.

    @vonny2421 my agent and attorney handled all of that. Sometimes you have to allow the experts to do the work. My appraisal was ordered as well as title without me knowing of it. I have a great team who work great together.

    Thanks for the responses. I never received a list of title companies at the purchase workshop only the contractor and inspectors list. It’s my realtor and attorneys first NACA loan so we are trying to navigate the process correctly.

    I didn’t exactly receive a list either. We had a packet with everything and one of the pages was an advertisement for the title company they recommended. They mentioned another one and made a big deal for each of us to write down one of these 2 is mandatory and non negotiable and the the one they have the page for they have a good report with. That title company just happened to have a title officer who only did naca loans so it went smoothly.

    Yes I guess I’ll have to reach out to my MC or someone to get the information. I’ve seen nothing so far with any title information on it

    Does anyone who reviews the Homeowners insurance policy? I got information today from the bank that the review of this information is contracted out to a third party.

    Congratulations! After all the stress and headache I closed today! I was cleared this morning and closed early afternoon. I really hope that BOA gets a better system so that others won’t have to go through the same thing that we did.

    @msm407 congratulations!!!! I am truly happy for you especially the fact you were able get cleared and close in the day. That’s a wonderful way to bring in 2020 🙂

    Question: Do you know who actually reviews the homeowners insurance policy? I am hearing that the bank contracts the review of that out to a third party
