naca has literally nothing to do with it at this point except provide a location for you to close. The paperwork is sent directly from bank of america and it should be fast. Depending on when bank of america planned your closing date they should send it over by then. I got my ctc final at 7pm and closed less than 24 hours later. At 10am the title company confirmed receipt of paperwork sent overnight. Since you got your final on a friday before a holiday I would expect the paperwork certainly this week. Probably today or tomorrow. Congratulations!
I thought you said you got the ctc final Friday???
I was notified via email. It was literally a 1 sentence email and it actually came from my Naca ID email address so who knows who actually sent it. I can’t imagine there would be any other way unless your attorney is notified and they call you.
For your earnest check the short answer is no but, it really depends. First it gets applied to your prepaid taxes and insurance. Anything left over will get applied to your buy down. If you still have money left over then the difference will be refunded to you. Your attorney will verify the total amount due at closing, or the total refund. If they received the ctc final they should already have this value. It’s just literally the physical paperwork they are waiting on.
