    Hope everyone is doing well!

Does anyone know if your credit line being increased will be frowned upon or if you need to provide an LOE or anything? My balance is zero on this particular card but the increase would bring my overall utilization down which would help my credit score. Capital one won’t have to do a hard inquiry, I don’t need the increase because I know not to charge my card at all but the potential score boost is enticing..

    No this is good news.

Credit score doesn’t matter in the least. Credit utilization doesn’t matter much either. You can be at 105% and still get approved if your monthly payments are low. If your credit score is 500 you will still get approved. It’s all about whether you have started to take the steps to improve.

I know NACA is not looking at score or utilization, which I am so thankful for! I just figure if the possibility to increase my score is there I want to take advantage. As long as it doesn’t cause any issue from an underwriting stand point.

If you get an increase don’t worry. If you ask for one then first run it by your MC.
