    My file was finally sent for Credit Access and I have the crazies. Checking to see if there are any conditions that I need to square away. Im super excited for the next step.
    Anyone else have the Credit Access Crazies?
    How long until you hear from your Underwriter?

    Hi. I was anxious too, but after our credit access, we heard back from UR in 24 hours that we were credit accessed approved. We had no conditions and were able to sign the bank app two days later. Hopefully you will hear back soon!

    Signed the bank app on 10/26, and we were given a few conditions to meet on 10/30. All conditions that were required by us are met except the closing papers for the sale of our current house. We are set to close on it 11/12. Hopefully, we will be able to close on new house within a week or so later. We have a week occupancy in current house after closing.

    I was approved for credit access in less than 24 hours. Signed bank app same day as approval. Had one condition which was to change effective date of my HOI from 11/26 to 11/18. Got Final-CTC less than 30 days from offer being accepted.

    If you were sent for credit access usually you hear from underwriting withing 2-3 days at the most. Usually within 1 day in my case.

    @belle can you please give us more details of how your experience has been with NACA buying a house while having/selling your current house?

    @southflorida Yes, we have really great realtor that has helped with the timing. Once we were qualified, our realtor put our current house on the market 2 weeks later. We put a contract on our new house once we had a contract on our current house. Current house contract fell through due to financing but luckily someone else put an offer in three days later.
    Realtor asked for seven days occupancy in our house after closing. If we don’t close on new house within that time, we will have to stay in a hotel for a few days. Hoping and praying timing works out.

    Oh ok, so still owning the house is no issue while being in Credit Access and even Bank application with Bank of America? I am asking because I believe that someone has posted here that you can’t own the house when the Bank Application comes which I though was strange because Tim has indicated before that as long as the current house closes before the new house, there are no issues

    If this helps here is what I went through: I had a foreclosure 5 years prior to joining NACA. It was still showing up on my credit report. I had to produce documentation that showed I no longer owned the house AND the bank actually did take possession and my name was no longer on the deed. I was not credit access approved until I could get all the court documents together (which didn’t take long because I had them).

    Correct. Because we had a contract on the house we owned, we were able to complete credit access and bank app. We just have to close on our current house prior to getting CTC.

    @nelsont “if that’s how you feel then walk” is a bit rude and should not be the response to someone who is having difficulty during the process. We all know that @behappy4me2 being frustrated is not foreign to the NACA process. We should all be uplifting each other to stay the course because we know that things can happen during this process that can frustrate us. So please be mindful of how you come across because that is rude. Thank you @peapod0609 for being a representation of support and positivity. Nobody here needs any negativity. We are all going through enough.
    @behappy4me2 I hope you find a way to stay motivated to stay the course. You are not the only but try to stick with it because even with the rate being raised unfortunately, NACA’s rate is still amazing. I hope that you get everything squared away. Maybe try calling member services and get a supervisor to assist you. Good luck!

    You could always try talking the MC’s manager or the regional manager as well if people are not being helpful. I had to do that once, and it definitely worked!

    Call the office and ask to speak to the manager. You can also call member services and ask them for assistance as well.

    I will say @nelsont has been an extremely helpful member around here these last few months, they can occasionally be a little blunt but they definitely are not trying to be rude, just honest!

    I was being blunt and honest. I understand I came across as rude. What didn’t sit well with me is the general negativity. This forum needs more positive experiences and I’m tired of people getting on here essentially to say the organization sucks. It has helped me out and countless others. If you are frustrated and concerned that’s fine we on the forum can lend an ear. I just don’t want to be told the path that I took shouldn’t be a path at all.
